Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you for visiting my page. Here is a little bit about myself and my priorities if elected as your new Columbia County Commissioner.

I have a deeply-ingrained commitment to ensuring that Columbia County is a great place to live, work and play.  I was born and raised in Columbia County and I am a local business owner.  My lifelong involvement in the issues facing Columbia County, along with my experience and education in government affairs and finance, and knowledge of natural resources, provides me the background and ability to work collaboratively with fellow citizens in achieving a balance between livability and prosperity in the county we call home.

PRIORITIES

A Great Place to Live: Columbia County residents want quality schools, beautiful parks, public safety, good roads, support of veterans and access to other local government services. I will make these goals a priority by budgeting conscientiously, working to attract new businesses and supporting responsible growth of new and existing businesses.

A Great Place to Work: Many county residents must commute for their work. I will strive to bring family-wage jobs to our county while being conscious of our resources and environment. My priority is to achieve a balance between large industries, small businesses, and agriculture and forestry.

A Great Place to Play: We have one of the most scenic counties in the state. Our river provides an abundance of recreational activities. Our trails and parks offer access to beautiful woodlands. I will work collaboratively with our citizens and other agencies to ensure our county continues to be a great place to live, to work, and raise a family.
